Simeon Adewale Soetan is the current Head of Department Finance & Investment Lagos State Pension Commission

Soetan is a financel expert with well over twenty five years work experience in Banking, Private and Public sectors of the economy. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria.

He started his banking career in 1995 with Chartered Bank (now Stanbic IBTC) and subsequently moved around other Institutions within the banking industry where he has headed several units with outstanding performance rising to the position of a Deputy Manager. He is very vast in Financial services and had attended several trainings to his credits

He later joined Audit Firm of Hafeez Onisarotu & Co. In 2008 as a partner in charge of Corporate Audits and Tax. He is a Finance and Investment Analyst, presently working with Lagos State Pension Commission(LASPEC) as Head of Finance & Investment Department. He oversees the department in charge of the management of Pension Funds and creating Pension Assets in the Money, Capital and Fixed lncome markets as well as the Real Estate for the benefit of retired Employees of Lagos State Government.

Mr Soetan is a prolific writer and Strategist on Financial and Economic issues. He is a teacher and currently working on his research document on Corporate Re-engineering in a Period of Recession as well as Strategic Positioning for Long Term Solvency.

He loves playing Football and Table Tennis as well as watching Football games.
