On Friday (4th September, 2026), the Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) held the 116th Batch Retirement Bond Certificate Presentation Ceremony, celebrating 732 retirees who have dedicated their productive years to the service and development of Lagos State.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, whose presence further underscored the Lagos State Government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of its retirees.

Through this batch, over ₦1.1 billion is has been paid to 732 retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme, bringing the number of retirees who have benefited from the State’s pension-related obligations to over 25,700, with a cumulative financial commitment exceeding ₦93 billion.
