As part of its critical commitment to ensuring that every retiring officer transitions smoothly from active service into retirement with clarity, confidence, and adequate preparation. The Lagos State Government through the Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) at its 30th Pre-Retirement Documentation Seminar held at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, on Monday, has reiterated that retirees have a responsibility to ensure timely submission of accurate documentation to avoid delays in accessing their entitlements.

The initiative reflects the state’s determination to support workers beyond active service. As long as intending retiree’s documentation is up to date, the Lagos State Government, through LASPEC, will ensure prompt processing and remittance of the retirement benefits.
