Lagos State Pension Commission Empowers Parastatals
DAY 1
On the 14th of July, the Lagos State Pension Commission organized a highly informative and empowering pension training for parastatals. The seminar focused on enlightening Pensions Desk Officers and Directors from local governments and SUBEB (State Universal Basic Education Board) on the vital topic of “Regulation for Administration of Retirement and Terminal Benefits.”

20th July 2023, the Lagos State Pension Commission held a highly informative training session focused on Corporate Governance and Integrity of the Contributory Pension Scheme. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Babalola Obilana, the Director General, and Mr. Muyiwa Oshin, the Executive Director of Finance, who both made the day truly special.
It was an honor for them to present well-deserved Certificates to all the enthusiastic and dedicated participants of the program. On July 24th, we successfully concluded the final phase of our three-day seminar, and it was a fantastic journey!
We had the pleasure of hosting Pension Desk Officers and Directors (A&HR) from both Mainstream and Tescom sectors, coming together to explore the theme of “The Pension System and Documentation.”
It was an enlightening experience, with participants gaining valuable insights and knowledge to revolutionize pension management in their respective domains.
To honor their dedication, the Director-General Mr. Babalola Obilana, and the Executive Director of Finance Mr. Muyiwa Oshin presented each participant with a prestigious Certificate of Participation.
